The fungal connection...
Mycology is the term given to the study of fungus. We don’t have to look very far to see different types of fungus in our environment. Bread is made with a type of fungus and so is penicillin.
More and more people are becoming increasingly aware of the fungal connection and our health status. There have been countless studies conducted from large research universities around the world expounding on the serious health threats fungi can pose.
Fungus can invade the body and cause serious health problems. Most of us today are familiar with problems such as tinea, bloating, diarrhoea, thrush, ringworm, rashes, nail fungus etc;
These are outward physical signs and symptoms that can afflict the body. What we cannot see is the battle that is going on within our bodies. Symptoms like fatigue, joint pain, itchiness, acne, allergies, mood disorders and the list goes on can be related to an infection of fungi in the body. Some ways that fungi can enter the human body is through the nose, intestinal tract, mouth, skin and of course the urino-genital tract. There is significant evidence of moulds and mycotoxins (fungal poisons) occurring in our food supply without us being aware of it.
If our immune system is compromised through poor eating habits, stress, disease, chemicals, lack of sunshine, lack of proper rest etc; we are more susceptible to developing an infection in our body that can cause problems.
Often the intestinal tract can be affected by an invasion of fungi and cause a myriad of problems. The consumption of antibiotics can activate these microbes along with eating foods it can continue to ‘feed’ them and can cause an over proliferation throughout the intestines. Antibiotics can also kill the normal friendly bacteria that habitats the intestinal tract of a health person. Other health conditions can also lead to an imbalance of the flora. Friendly bacteria, or pro-biotics needs to be taken to replenish the right bacteria in the gut if antibiotics have been taken.
Dr.Tullio Simoncini, an Oncologist in Rome, has been researching the link between fungus and cancer for many years. He has written a book, “Cancer is a Fungus” which explores the connection at a deeper level. He has been treating cancer sufferers for many years with remarkable results. He has a Web Site you may like to visit www.curenaturalicancro.com

A Medical Doctor by the name of A.V Costantini who was the head of the World Health Organisation also co-wrote a series of books titled the Fungalbionic Series – These books detail the connection between human disease and fungal mycotoxin. The other two authors are Heinrich Wieland M.D and Lars I.Qvick M.D PhD (also directors of the World Health Organisation)
